The Client- Rwanda Development Board (RDB)
The Rwanda Development Board was set up by bringing together all the government agencies responsible for the entire investor experience under one roof. This includes key agencies responsible for business registration, investment promotion, environmental clearances, privatization and specialist agencies which support the priority sectors of ICT and tourism as well as SMEs and human capacity development in the private sector.
The Rwanda Development Board is evidence that Rwanda is open for business. It is truly a one stop shop for all investors.
One of the main role for RDB is ICT in Rwanda: Information and Communication Technology is a central engine to driving Rwanda’s transformation to a knowledge based economy, a fact Rwanda has acknowledged by allocating a budget to ICT - as a percentage of its GDP - that is at par with OECD countries.
Rwanda continues to be one of the fastest growing African countries in ICT and there are several avenues for growth for the ICT sector – from e-commerce and e-services, mobile technologies, applications development and automation to becoming a regional center for the training of top quality ICT professionals and research. A robust ICT industry can create wealth, jobs and entrepreneurs.
With increasing Strong & visionary leadership and Young and dynamic workforce in offering services to its citizens, RDB needed a system that would improve the good and rapid services.
